Mom and I are watching 17 Again. I say this with very little shame. I also would like to add that I thought Zac Efron, in all his young glory, did a fine job. AND he looked fine. Just sayin'.
For some reason, every time I am in the car, I repeat the song "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse over and over. I just can't get enough of that song. I love the music in it. Please believe me when I say that it has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the fact that it's the credit song on Twilight. Seriously. I just like the song.
That and the song lyrics on the post title "The Last High" by the Dandy Warhols. Another sweet song. Over and over again. I never get tired of it.
Also, my latest favorite band is Paramore. Am I turning into a degraded teenager? I mean, I don't work. I eat junk food constantly. Thank God I stopped sleeping until after 9 am!
In the past week or so, I have watched the following movies:
The Blind Side
Julie & Julia
Star Trek (again)
Live Free and Die Hard (again)
G.I. Joe (sucked)
Reno 911: Miami (or whatever it's called)
17 Again
Surrogates
Paranormal Activity
The Hangover
The Perfect Getaway
Sherlock Holmes
Whip It!
I think that's it. I loved Whip It! of course. And The Hangover was way better the second time I saw it for some reason. Maybe because one can laugh more freely in your own living room than at the movie theater with a date?
I would have found Paranormal Activity scarier, but I watched it in the middle of the way - while being completely distracted by bird house painting. Sherlock Holmes was better the first time. I can't get Niecy Nash's ginormous cottage cheese ass cheeks out of my head, so I can't necessarily say I enjoyed that movie. 17 Again was actually kind of cute. I like Leslie Mann. I really love Bruce Willis so even if I hate one of his movies, I won't admit it. Yeah, that even counts Hudson Hawk.
Mom and I also finished the last 4 episodes of the United States of Tara: Season 1. She enjoyed it. Now I'm looking forward to it Season 2!
Farrah and Gus' annual derby party is this upcoming weekend! I'm terribly excited although I still don't have a hat to wear!
Christie found these amazingly adorable cookies to make for the party. That Bakerella just kind of rocks all the time.
Holy crap! My computer just STOPPED last night and Typepad actually saved everything. Amazing! Thank goodness too because I can't even remember any of that crap I wrote up above.
Gah. I'm feeling very uninspired today. It must be the crummy weather.
I think I'll go work on my cute little birdhouse. It needs some work. Maybe I'll write more later? We'll see!
